Is anything free? Yes — the first stories of every series are free forever, no account needed.
How do subscriptions work? FluentTales Pro unlocks every story at every level: $7.99/month or $47.99/year, each with a 7-day free trial. Billing is handled by Apple/Google. Cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings — cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal stops the next charge.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device? Open Settings in the app and choose Restore purchases, signed in with the same store account.
What level should I start at? If you're new to Spanish or can't yet read a simple paragraph comfortably, start at A1 — the first Café Luna story is a perfect test. Understanding ~95% without effort means the level is right; if it feels trivial, move up.
Do stories work offline? Yes. Any story you've opened stays on the device. A story needs the internet only the first time it's opened.
Are the stories AI-generated? Yes — written, illustrated and narrated with AI, then vocabulary-screened and reviewed before publishing. It's how we keep every story exactly at level and add new ones weekly. Found an error a native speaker wouldn't make? Email us; we fix fast.
